IRM Lv1 Skin Current File
The IRM level 1 skin current text file is generated for each IRM turn-on session.
IRM lv1 data consists of a text file containing self-described data in a column-separated format. Data includes the date and time in UT, the current on the outer IRM sensor surface (skin current) in microamps, the number of ions detected by the anode in the period, and the voltage on the inner hemispheric dome (VSA) in volts, used to select the energy range of the measured particles. Positive skin current values indicate a net positive charge flux on the IRM sensor surface.
